Preschool Cookery Class, Frant, T Wells
New term starts on 15th Jan 2021
Age Range - 2-5 Years
We are pleased to bring back our outstanding preschool cookery classes in Frant, Tunbridge Wells. We are using the same lovely venue we used before lockdown, The Stables, St Albans Church, Church Road, Frant, Tunbridge Wells, TN3 9DX.
We are a fun and educational activity, but very relaxed and chat while we make a yummy dish. Younger siblings/babies are very welcome to come along too and wander around and play while we make the dish.
Our classes are fun and interactive and the children learn many skills both around cooking - chopping, weighing, stirring, mixing, whisking, grating etc., as well as educational and life skills such as counting, listening, taking turns, hygiene and concentrations skills (without them realising!).
We talk about healthy choices and food knowledge and we taste new foods while we prepare a dish together to bring home to cook, heat up or just plate up! All of our recipes have healthy options and they are an excellent way for children to enjoy learning to help in the kitchen and try new tastes and dishes as well as having fun!
We have all new dishes for this term, including Raspberry Bar, Vegetable Lasagne, Coconut and Lime Drizzle Cake, Guacamole & Bean Tacos, Vanilla Dreams, Inside Out Sushi Roll, Banana Oat Cookies and more!
The cost of £10 per class includes the use of aprons and cookery equipment, all ingredients, containers to take the dishes home in, a laminated recipe card and a healthy eating sticker each week for all the super chefs!

The children will be well spaced out, to ensure social distancing, share the minimal amount of equipment in the class (shared equipment is sanitised as i go around) and everything is scrupulously cleaned in between classes.
