Hi my name is Jill and I help parents who see cookery as a life skill and enjoyable and educational for their children but who perhaps are without the time, knowledge or energy to do it themselves.
I show children how to love, make and eat healthy food in fun interactive cookery classes so that the children are being kept safely entertained learning new skills and delicious dishes are being created for all the family to enjoy! How often does your child's activity leave you with a yummy dish to eat?!
Even if cooking is usually something you do together, our enjoyable and interactive classes and delicious recipes will continue to reinforce something you may already have started, without any fancy equipment or ingredients needed.

I love to cook!
I've always enjoyed cooking and remembers inventing recipes as a child as soon as I was old enough to be allowed to cook on my own! Even with a busy life of working and then combining working and bringing up two children, I still wanted to follow in my mother’s footsteps, cooking healthy meals from scratch, and understand it can be difficult to find the time.
I love to cook with local fresh ingredients and also growing them! I have an allotment where I focus on growing vegetables and love to sow, grow then eat! I grow a large range of traditional "English" vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, peas, beetroot, asparagus and lettuce and have also tried more exotic vegetables and fruit such as oca and cucamelons.
I love introducing young children to a love of new ingredients and cooking and inspiring the families of West Kent with exciting recipes. The children in my classes really enjoy making and cooking a new dish every week and I love to hear back how much they enjoyed it!!
